1964 First edition. Green boards, black text. Book is Vg with DJ is G+ with minor rubbing to the corners slight edgewear, and a 2.5inch closed tear at the spine (since repaired with book tape.) There is a very small black ink spot on page14 and 15. The deer cullers of NZ spent weeks in isolated areas charged with reducing a deer population that was creating havoc in the country's native bush and other vegetation. It tells the stories, experiences, hardships, dangers and characters of this unusual occupation. 166 pages, 33 b/w photos.
