Director Communications (m/f), Palmerston North in Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui

Your tasks:
- Work with outside vendors when appropriate
- Work with Senior Director to create a press strategy and build organizational capacity for increased media relations activities
- Serve as a key writer, working with Senior Director to continually hone and integrate meaningful messages intoappropriately targeted communications
- Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print collateral
- Manage electronic newsletter,serving as lead editor, writer, and process manager
Your skills:
- Proven track record in developing and leading comprehensive communications, mediarelations, marketing and online strategies, including experience managing social media outreach
- Familiarity with interactive design, website management/maintenance and email marketing platforms
- Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with multiple audiences, internal teams and stakeholders while presenting complex ideas clearly and in an engaging manner
- Superior project management and organization skills
- Commitment to excellence and accuracy, with an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong time management skills and remain flexible in order to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously, many with tight deadlines
